Life & Work
Les Davies was born into a farm worker’s family in North Somerset and has spent the whole of his life in connection with the land. For nearly 20 years he has was the Senior Warden for the Mendip Hills AONB. His apple orcharding background goes back 40 years, making him much sought after for courses and contracting work throughout the West Country.

2011 – Nominated a Champion of the Environment in the Mid Somerset News & Media Heart of Somerset Awards
2005 – MBE for contributions to the Environment for his work within the Mendip Hills AONB
