Mendip Times – January 2016

After a long, relaxing break over the holidays, Les is back with another column for Mendip Times!

This month Les extols the benefits of making a good walk in the country a regular part of your week (a fine way to burn off all those mince pies and turkey dinners). There are also a few pointers on what kind of gear you’ll need.

Les also takes a look back over a packed 2015, in particular a very enjoyable stint as tour guide for a group of students from the University of Georgia.

And Les returns this year as Master of Ceremonies for the Godney Wassail after leading the 2015 celebrations! The wassail takes place on February 8th starting at the Sheppey Inn. Contact the Sheppey for details and tickets.
