Mendip Times – June 2014

In the June edition of the Mendip Times, Les talks about how fast the days go by and how it can be a good thing to have a good chat and set the world to rights, “whether you are leaning on a gate, the bonnet of a Land Rover or propping up the bar in your local”.

A visit to the North Somerset Agricultural Show on the May Bank Holiday Monday at Wraxall afforded Les the chance to chat to old friends as well as watch the tractor pulling, which Les describes in detail.

Les recently took a group of trainee teachers from Somerset Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) out for a day in the Mendips – read Les’ interesting thoughts on that as well.
