Mendip Times – April 2014

In the April edition of the Mendip Times, Les speaks with great fondness of the Somerset Rural Life Museum in Glastonbury. The museum, which is closing down temporarily for a major re-fit, has been such a big part of Les’s life. Read his column for a very evocative account of the museum over the years.

Like many of us, Les is looking forward to the brighter evenings that come with British Summer Time and hopefully some more pleasant weather now that Spring is officially here. Time for Les (and indeed many of us) to get out into the garden and give it the attention it didn’t get over our long wet winter.

Les also mentions the Butcombe Brewery Walk on 19th April in aid of Arthritis Research UK – read more about that here.
