Mendip Times – March 2014

In the March edition of the Mendip Times, Les discusses the issue that has filled our news channels over the past few weeks – the terrible flooding on the Somerset Levels. What can Les mean by the ‘Prince of Wales Drain’?

Les is still busy pruning in the orchards and has recently pruned the Long Ashton Research Station fruit tree collection at the University of Bristol’s Goldney Hall. Les began his working life at Long Ashton and has lots of memories to share.

Read about all this and more besides in the March 2014 issue of the Mendip Times.
