It’s May already, and as the days are getting longer, from here on in, life on the land gets pretty busy! Take a few moments to join Les for his May column for Mendip Times.
This month, Les takes in some of the folklore around this merriest of months, looks forward to the oncoming summer, and looks back again to his childhood on Hales Farm.
A date for your diary, too, if you’re nearby. Les is judging entries in the Enviromental Youth Awards at this year’s Royal Bath & West show from June 1st, so why not go along?
To read the column, click on the image below to go to the Mendip Times website. The best way is to view the magazine on PDF – go to the option ‘the magazine’ on their menu and then click to download the latest copy of the Mendip Times. Les’ column is on page 60 of the May edition:
Or you can download this and Les’s previous Mendip Times columns on our archive page.
